1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Lone Star Mat Sports LLC ("we," "us") handles information in connection with the SlapAndBump platform and websites (the "Service"). For personal data that academies upload about their members, the academy is the controller of that data and we act as a processor on the academy's behalf; we process it to provide the Service.

2. Information we handle

  • Account information you provide as a customer: name, email, login credentials, and billing-related information (payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
  • Member data your academy uploads: member names, contact details, belt and stripe rank and history, attendance, progress notes, competition records, and similar information your academy chooses to record.
  • Usage and device information: log data, IP address, browser type, and actions in the Service, used to operate, secure, and improve it.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication and essential functionality; we describe these in Section 8.

3. How we use information

We use information to: provide and maintain the Service; authenticate users and secure accounts; process subscriptions and payments (via our processor); provide support; communicate service and account messages; and improve reliability and features. We process member data only to provide the Service to the academy that controls it, and per that academy's instructions and these terms.

4. Legal bases and consent

Academies are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents to collect their members' data and to have us process it. If your members have questions about their data, they should contact the academy (the controller); we will support the academy in responding to member requests.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with: service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, payment processing via Stripe, and email delivery), under confidentiality and data-protection obligations; and as required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not use member data for advertising.

6. Data retention

We retain account and member data for as long as your subscription is active and as needed to provide the Service. After termination, we make data available for export for a reasonable period on request and then delete or anonymize it per our retention practices, unless longer retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, tenant isolation, hashed passwords, and regular backups. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address issues.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for authentication and core functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you or your members may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. For member data, direct requests to the academy that controls it; we will assist the academy. For your own account data, contact support@slapandbump.com.

10. Children

The Service is used by academies that may record data about minor members. Academies are responsible for obtaining parental or guardian consent as required by law for minors' data. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children; member data is submitted by the academy.

11. International

We operate from the United States and process data in the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand data may be processed in the U.S.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy; we will post the updated version with a new date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice.
